CEC’s Isherwood on the Sydney ‘Islamist’ siege: “Let’s ask Prince Charles what he knows about it.”

CEC of Australia First Published 17 December 2014

From the national headquarters of the Citizens Electoral Council of Australia (CEC) in Melbourne, CEC National Secretary Craig Isherwood today issued the following statement on the hostage-taking at the Lindt Chocolate Café in central Sydney.

Our sympathy and prayers go out to the family and friends of those who were tragically killed or injured, even as we are thankful that the situation did not end much more gruesomely. But if we are not to witness an endless, escalating series of such events we must go well beyond prayers, to understand the dynamic which drives “international terrorism”.

First of all, I would call attention to the CEC’s 25 September 2014 press release titled “British SIS/ASIO Planning a Terrorist Attack on Australia?”, which forecast precisely such an attack.

It opened:

As things presently stand, a near-term terrorist attack upon Australian soil is almost guaranteed. Why? Is it because there are so many terrorists out there, whether home-grown or returning from Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan or elsewhere, such that at least one ‘lone wolf’ is bound to ‘slip through’? No! It is because the British Crown and the City of London, which control the British and American intelligence services, intend for such an attack to occur.

In the November/December 2014 issue of our New Citizen newspaper, which also featured that release, we elaborated on the strategic context for such events: the fact that the world is now plunging headlong into a new, far worse global financial collapse than even that of 2007-08. Such a collapse would explode the power of the Anglo-American oligarchy, centred in the megabanks of the City of London and Wall Street, and it is assuredly coming.

With that clock ticking, and desperate to maintain its power that Anglo-American oligarchy has launched a global war on two fronts:

1) it has launched a relentless, escalating showdown against the rising economic powers of the BRICS nations of Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa and their allies, which may well result in a thermonuclear World War III, and…

2) it has fostered the rise of international terrorism through Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other Gulf States, to justify the establishment of fascist-style police state regimes in the West.

Therefore, it is impossible to defeat international terrorism without shining a spotlight on those in the West—in particular in the U.K. and the US—who have built that terrorist apparatus over the past thirty years or so and who continue to protect it.
And there is perhaps no single individual in the world more responsible for doing so, than the heir to the British Crown, Prince Charles.

No. 1 Prince Bandar bin-Sultan & No. 2 is Prince Turki bin Faisal

His own intimate friends and associates of decades standing in the ruling families of Saudi Arabia, in particular, constitute a “Who’s Who” of the orchestrators and financiers of international terrorism: they created Al-Qaeda, they organised the 9/11 attacks in New York and Washington, and they created ISIS and continue, relentlessly, to support its expansion. We provide some of the essential proof of that charge in our November/December 2014 New Citizen, but let me state some essentials here.

First, as all honest observers recognise, Saudi Arabia is the chief financier of international terrorism. Former US Senator Bob Graham1)Re-Open the 9/11 Investigation Now, who headed the 2002 US Congress’ Joint Commission on 9/11 and is one of the world’s experts on that matter, told the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation on 9 October regarding the refusal by Bush/Cheney and now Obama to declassify a crucial 28 page section of that report, “Foreign Financing and Logistical support for 9/11 hijackers:

I believe that had the role of Saudi Arabia in 9/11 been disclosed by the release of the 28 pages, and by the declassification of other information as to the Saudi role and support of the 9/11 hijackers, that it would have made it much more difficult for Saudi Arabia to have continued that pattern of behavior … and I think we would have had a good chance of reining in the activity that today Canada, the United States and other countries either are or are not considering going to war with.

The names of two of the top leaders of the Saudi state and intelligence agencies over the past thirty years have emerged repeatedly in the context of 9/11, both of whom are decades-long intimate friends of Charles and were two of only eight foreign royals whom Charles invited to his and Camilla’s wedding in April 2005.

They are:

prince-bandar-bin-sultan-04Prince Bandar bin-Sultan2)His biographer calls his friendship with Charles “close”. He was a wedding guest of Charles and Camilla. In 1990, Bandar contributed an estimated $US13-24.4 million to the OCIS. At Bandar’s behest, then-King Fahd pledged a $32.4 million donation from the Kingdom to the OCIS; Bandar announced the gift at a 1997 private dinner with Charles. Former Saudi Ambassador to Washington and Intelligence chief, Bandar heads the Saudi Security Council. He and his wife have been implicated in funding the 9/11 attackers. He also arranged the first Al-Yamamah oil-for-arms contract with PM Margaret Thatcher in 1985, an ongoing deal in which the Prince of Wales later took a hand. refer here, Saudi Ambassador to the US (1983-2005), Secretary-General of the Saudi National Security Council (2005-present) and head of Saudi Intelligence from 2012-14, the crucial two years when ISIS was being constructed out of the Saudi-funded “Syrian opposition”; and his brother-in-law…

Prince Turki bin Faisal3)He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the OCIS and chairs its Strategy Advisory Committee. Another of Charles’s wedding guests, he resigned as director of Saudi General Intelligence (1979-2001) ten days before 9/11. Turki financed and organised the rise of al-Qaeda in the 1980s. He was Saudi Ambassador to the UK (2003-05) and USA (2005-06). refer here, Director-General of Saudi Intelligence (1979-2001, during the time al-Qaeda was constructed), and Saudi Ambassador to the UK (2003-05) and to the USA (2005-06).

Bandar’s wife:

Haifa al-Faisal01

Princess Haifa al-Faisal

Princess Haifa al-Faisal, Turki’s sister, personally provided financial assistance to two of the hijackers (15 of the 19 were Saudi nationals), while a 1 March 2003 article in The Guardian by Paul Harris and Martin Bright, “Saudi envoy in UK linked to 9/11”, reported on Prince Charles’ friendship with Turki, but then observed that “Turki is not what he seems. Behind him lies a murky tale of espionage, terrorism and torture. For, while Turki has many powerful friends among Britain’s elite, he is no ordinary diplomat. Turki has now been served with legal papers by lawyers acting for relatives of the victims of 11 September. … The revelations throw a stark light on Turki’s appointment last year as Saudi Arabia’s new ambassador to Britain. They also cast doubt on the suitability of Charles’s relationship with senior Saudis. … The US lawsuit is seeking more than $1 trillion in compensation from a list of individuals and companies alleged to have supported Al-Qaeda … Now, after papers were served on Turki several weeks ago, the Saudi ambassador will be at the heart of it. Legal papers in the case obtained by The Observer make it clear that the allegations are serious and lengthy.”

Most recently, as reported in the 18 November Daily Mail4)Jailed 9/11 hijacker Zacarias Moussaoui accuses two of Saudi’s most senior royals – including a former ambassador to US – of ‘paying for Osama bin Laden’s terror plot’ in extraordinary claim from prison Read more, one of those convicted and now spending life in prison for the 9/11 attacks, Zacarias Moussaoui5)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zacarias_Moussaoui, named Prince Turki al-Faisal and his sister, Bandar’s wife, as “paying for Osama bin Laden’s terror plot”.

MOUSSAOI-letter The Daily Mail included a photostat of Moussaui’s several-page letter naming Turki and his sister.

The question of “Charles’s relationships with senior Saudis” emerged as the central issue in British authorities’ attempts to investigate 9/11. In his book, Saudi Babylon: Torture, Corruption and Cover-up Inside the House of Saud6)Hardcover – May 5, 2005 256 pages ISBN-10: 1840189614; ISBN-13: 978-1840189612,Amazon investigative reporter Mark Hollingsworth reported on a meeting in 2003 at New Scotland Yard between its top officials, senior British counter-terrorism officials, and lawyers representing the families of the victims of 9/11. The 9/11 lawyers raised the matter of Saudi royal family financing of the hijackers of 9/11. Hollingsworth:

“Prince Charles’s relationships with prominent House of Saud members have created serious problems and obstacles to UK agencies investigating claims of Saudi financing of international terrorism, according to Special Branch sources. The delicacy and sensitivity of Prince Charles’s friendships was raised during a meeting at New Scotland Yard in April 2003. Families of the victims of 9/11 had filed a lawsuit accusing some members of the House of Saud, notably defence minister Prince Sultan and the new UK Ambassador, Prince Turki, of supporting Al-Qaeda in the past. Their lawyers were in Europe investigating allegations that senior Saudi royals had backed Islamic charities, run by the government, which funded the 9/11 hijackers.

“The meeting at Scotland Yard was attended by detective-chief inspector Stephen Ratcliffe, the Special Branch officer in charge of tracking terrorism financing; Peter Clarke, national director of countering terrorist funding; Robert Randall, a police liaison officer; and lawyers for the families of the 9/11 victims. Alan Gerson, a lawyer for 9/11 relatives, outlined their case and said that the Saudi royal family were put on notice in 1999 by US National Security Council (NSC) officials in Riyadh that funds for Al-Qaeda came from Saudi. ‘There were warnings to the Saudis in London as well,’ said Ratcliffe, ‘although some of our regulatory agencies were not always up to scratch in tracing the money.’

“‘Well, have the UK authorities uncovered anything to show that charities run by some members of the Saudi royal family were channeling money to the terrorists?’ asked Gerson.

“Ratcliffe looked hesitant and a little sheepish. ‘Our ability to investigate the Saudis is very limited,’ he said. He then paused, looked across at a photograph of Prince Charles on the wall, raised his eyebrows and smiled knowingly without saying a word. ‘He did not say anything, but the message was crystal clear when he looked at the picture,’ said a [high-level] police officer who was present. ‘It was Prince Charles’s special relationship with the Saudis which was a problem. He gave no other reason why they were restricted.’”

Sydney gunman Haron Monis—a “lone wolf”?

In our 25 September press release, we emphasised that given the enormous range of surveillance and other police-state powers already in place here, a “9/11-scale” terrorist attack on Australia would simply not be credible at present. Therefore, we warned, the expected attack would most likely come from a “lone wolf”.

Right on cue, the “lone wolf” Man Haron Monis appeared, a deranged individual long known to police and intelligence agencies who bore the earmarks of a programmable “Manchurian Candidate”7)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Manchurian_Candidate. An Iranian refugee granted asylum here in 1996, Monis by 2007 had gained notoriety for, among other things, writing abusive letters to the families of soldiers killed in Afghanistan. Though Monis claimed to speak on behalf of the Muslim community, a 28 December 2007 article in The Australian reported precisely the opposite. Titled “Sheikh ‘faked’ to stir up ill-feeling”, the article reported the response of Ikebal Patel of the Australian Federation of Islamic Councils to Monis: “Mr Patel said dozens of senior Muslim spiritual leaders from around the country—including Australian National Imams Council executives—have been quizzed about the identity of Sheik Haron, but to no avail.” On 27 February 2008 Australia’s senior Shiite cleric Sheik Mousselmani told The Australian: “We don’t know him and we have got nothing to do with him. The federal police should investigate who he is. It should be their responsibility.”

Then, in 2013 Monis was charged with being an accessory to the murder of his ex-wife, who was stabbed and set alight in a stairwell. His current girlfriend was charged with the murder, but the judge let him free on bail, commenting that the evidence against Monis seemed “circumstantial”. Then, earlier this year, Monis was charged with 40 counts of sexual assault. Already on bail as a possible accessory to murder, he was nonetheless again granted bail to appear in court in February 2015.

Though long professing to be a Shiite Muslim, Monis just recently announced himself to be a Sunni (as are all members of ISIS), just in time to claim ISIS inspiration for his actions in the Lindt café. His deranged mental history, together with his remarkably lenient treatment by law enforcement call to mind the notorious case of Martin Bryant.

When Bryant suddenly committed his mass murder in Port Arthur, Tasmania in 1996, then-PM John Howard immediately seized on the public shock to ram through his planned draconian gun control laws. A CEC investigation at the time, including interviews with Bryant’s personal psychiatrist, established that Bryant had been created as a “test-tube” project of the Tavistock clinic, Britain’s premier psychological warfare centre. Tavistock specialises in studies of how “mass trauma” can cause dramatic political and psychological shifts among affected populations.

Your responsibility

Now consider your own reactions as, hour after hour, the media relentlessly reported on the hostage drama unfolding in Sydney.

Did you find yourself becoming frightened, scared that such an attack “out of the blue” could also one day hit you or your loved ones?

Were you inclined to say,Well, I guess we do need some more stern anti-terror laws, anything to stop something like this”?

That is exactly what the MI5/ASIO crowd and its masters in the Crown intend for you to think. This is exactly why 9/11 was launched in the first place. Therefore, we repeat the conclusion of our 25 September release:

My observations about the Sydney incident and Islamic Terror: by GEG

for-what-its-worthIt would appear the perpetrator Man Haron Monis wasn’t trained for the task, he lacked the resources to execute the plan.

Professional ISIS personal would have truly rigged the place to become dust along with a big bunch of hostages and armed forces.

Thank Goodness Man Haron Monis wasn’t skilled.

Be asured ISIS will be studying carefully how Australia handled the event with the intent to engineer better outcomes when they do act.

This event may well be the fuel for ISIS to really exact revenge at a scale of 9/11 proportions, these types of people have very long memories and unforgiving natures to accompany their blood lusts to kill infidels and the Apostates to Islam.

Our Security Forces may well be catching heat at present as this nutter had a high profile with the security organisations yet he managed to waltz into a downtown cafe lay siege kill at least the Cafe Manager Tori Johnson whilst wrestling the weapon from him in the early hours of today. We have not heard whose bullets killed the 38 year old mother of 3 Katrina Dawson, we shouldn’t rule out friendly fire; with the amount of bullets that went flying she may well be collateral damage when the strike force entered the cafe blazing. An unavoidable risk in such a “no win” situations.

The Bitter Facts:
Sadly in such events like Martin Place Siege somebody is not going to be alive at the end its just how do we minimise that number.

When “IS” terror does come:
I think when it does come it will be just a “Huge Explosion” and Mass Carnage; ISIS won’t be laying sieges the question will be how big is the Explosion and what high populated location will it be.

We can not afford to rule out:
This could have been a planned distraction and testing of our resources and this nutter was played as a pawn to achieve set objectives, we know only all too well the killing their own for the cause is well within the rules they live by. Why He’s a martyr for the greater cause.

We would do well to understand Fundamental Islamic Believers do not think like we do:

These followers of Islam are driven by a religious fervor unparalleled in society Past and Present, we have a vast storehouse of Historical events and evidence which goes right back to the very days of the Prophet Muhammad displaying the Terror and Killing trail they leave in their Conquest to establish Islam as they ruling Power. Strangely they could be label globalists however they are not the same as the globalist currently taking the world by stealth. via Commerce / Law and Politics via bodies like UN, IMF, AGENDA 21, G20, G10, G7,EU and many more Global Governance organizations.

Actually the Islamic Caliphate agenda currently being worked by ISIS must be causing the true World Order real grief; I feel they’ve been playing this Tiger for their own purposes within the middle east however its becoming a Tiger out of control whose eyes have moved well past the middle east.

The Creep:

Islamic strategy is currently what I term “The Creep” slowly but surely they are becoming entrenched within the power structures of the western world powers, integration but not integrating; rather Sanitizing Islam and congregating within communities to gain control by numbers and within the local councils of the communities they dominate. Where by the  islamification process commences generally unchallenged. Shariah Law covertly established initially enforced on Islamic followers. Bringing in practices which our Western Societies have laws against.

The Creep within some nations is at the level where the push is to have Shariah Law Recognised as a legitimate Law within that land any nation foolish enough to court this idea is racing down the slide to an Islamic Horror, I would liken this act to selling your soul to the devil for a slice of bread. True Madness.

Radicals Fundamentalists Islamic Followers:
its being said the people whom have displayed this terror and Horror is a small percentage of Islamic Followers with numbers like 15 – 25% of all islamic followers falling under the umbrella of Radical Fundamentalists well lets place some perspective on this.

LETS DO SOME SUMS:

Total estimated Followers of Islam = 1.6 billion or 23% of earth’s population, Islam

Radicals Fundamentalists World Wide:

15% of 1.6 billion = 240  Million Radicals in the world today

20% of 1.6 billion =  320  Million Radicals in the world today

25% of 1.6 billion =  400 Million Radicals in the world today

payattentionTotal estimated Followers of Islam Australia 476,291 people, or 2.2% of the total Australian population.

Radicals Fundamentalists Australia est, Factor

15% of  476,291 = 71,433

20% of  476,291 = 95,258

25% of  476,291 = 119,072

Despite demanding to speak with the Prime Minister, asking for an ISIS flag, and telling hostages that the media was covering up ISIS responsibility for the attack, the narrative in the Sydney siege quickly shifted to portray culprit Haron Monis as an “isolated figure” who had no real political motivations.

Two people, including the gunman, died after commandos stormed the building earlier today, ending a 16-hour siege.

Whether or not Monis was an ISIS member or merely inspired by ISIS, to downplay that his actions were politically motivated is patently naive. While it’s true that Monis was out on bail after being charged as an accessory to the murder of his ex-wife, both his history and his actions during the siege clearly indicate that he was driven by extremist Islamist ideology.

Monis made numerous demands during the siege that were deliberately not reported by the media. When those demands leaked out onto Facebook and YouTube, the posts and videos were quickly deleted.

Hostages were asked by Monis to produce short videos in which they related Monis’ assertion that the incident was an ISIS attack and that the media was covering up the fact that the attack was inspired by ISIS. Monis also repeatedly demanded access to a radio station to air his views.

151214postA Facebook post made by one of the victims also stated, “The man wants the world to know that Australia is under attack by the Islamic State”. Monis also demanded that an ISIS flag be delivered to the cafe. A generic Islamist flag was subsequently held up by hostages in the window of the Lindt store.

Monis originally came to Australia in 1996 as a political refugee and self-proclaimed Shia cleric, claiming that his life was under threat from the “Iranian regime” and was subsequently interviewed by Australia’s ABC network in 2001 in what some saw as part of an effort to demonize Tehran. Monis also said he was in contact with the United Nations regarding Iran’s “terrorist operations in the war”.

In 2008, Australia’s senior Shia leader, Kamal Mousselmani, urged federal police to investigate Monis while distancing himself from the cleric, asserting that no one knew who he was.

In September last year, Monis was sentenced with 300 hours community service for sending hate mail to the families of Australian soldiers killed in Afghanistan.

Earlier this month, Monis announced his conversion to Sunni Islam, posting on his website, “I used to be a Rafidi, but not any more. Now I am a Muslim, Alhamdu Lillah”.

“It was the Australian media itself who introduced him publicly as an “Ayatollah” and the Australian government that vetted him and allegedly granted him political asylum,” writes Tony Cartalucci. “He was allegedly in contact with the UN and was used to stir up anti-Iranian sentiment in Australia. It is then highly suspicious that now both the Australian media and the Australian government appear to have no knowledge of who he is or where he came from.”

Indeed, the mainstream media now seems to be very keen on emphasizing the narrative that Monis was a “lone actor,” an “isolated figure” and had “no known links to jihadist groups”. His overtly political statements and demands made during the siege have either been glossed over or ignored entirely.

Imagine for a second if a Tea Party supporter in the United States who hated Muslims took dozens of hostages and asked for a Ku Klux Klan flag while ordering the hostages to tell the media that he was acting on behalf of the KKK – would the media then downplay the political motivation behind the attack?

The Grand Mufti of Australia, the highest Muslim authority in the country, also sought to downplay any political or Islamist connotation, referring to the incident as a “criminal” attack.

Other factors also suggest that contrived concerns over cultural sensitivity were advanced to cloud the actual nature of the attack. A campaign called “I’ll ride with you,” which encouraged Australians to accompany Muslims traveling to work, went viral, despite no reports whatsoever of any violence being directed towards Muslims as a result of the incident.

The Sydney Morning Herald even suggested  that Australians should have “empathy” for the terrorist, asking, “How should we feel for the perpetrator so far witnessed and his family?”

It’s odd that a country usually keen to create hysteria about Islamic terrorism in order to justify military campaigns would downplay the clear extremist Islam motivation behind the Sydney siege, but this seems to be part of a growing trend. The US Department of Homeland Security has also repeatedly denied information which suggests that ISIS members are active on the southern border.

Are authorities in the United States and Australia embarrassed at the fact that their role in destabilizing Syria helped foster the growth of ISIS and increased support for its activities worldwide, or are they just too incompetent to deal with the menace posed by the group and its ideology and have instead chosen to downplay the scale of the threat?

SYDNEY TERRORIST ISIS Hostage taker claims two other accomplices have placed bombs in city

Hostage taker claims two other accomplices have placed bombs in city

UPDATE: Videos allegedly made by hostages inside the Lindt cafe contain further details about the hostage taker and his demands.

removed due to censorship

A Facebook post attributed to a victim of the Sydney cafe siege which purports to contain a list of demands from the hostage taker states that the terrorist is a self-proclaimed member of ISIS, that two other accomplices have placed bombs elsewhere in the city, and that he will start killing hostages unless his demands are met.

151214post

The post, which is deliberately not being reported by the mainstream media, was made by Marcia Mikhael.

It states that the terrorist is a member of Islamic State and has requested an ISIS flag to be sent to the location, amongst other “small and simple requests” which have not been met.

The terrorist also requested that he speak via live broadcast with Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott and that five hostages will be released, according to the post. Five hostages did subsequently leave the cafe but it is unclear whether they escaped or were released.

A generic Islamic flag was later displayed by hostages in the window of the Lindt cafe, but it was different from the one commonly used by ISIS.

“There are 2 more bombs in the city,” the terrorist allegedly told the hostages, while also ordering that the media tell the other two “brothers not to explode the bomb.” The hostage taker also reportedly has a bomb and a shotgun.

Mikhael subsequently deleted the post (or more likely Facebook deleted the post), although her profile is still active. She is listed as a Senior Project Manager at Westpac and Owner at Fitness 4 Life Australia.

The location where the siege is unfolding, Martin Place, was identified as a terrorist target earlier this year. In a potentially related incident, the Belgian town of Ghent has been placed under lockdown after four gunmen took a hostage in an apartment building.

As we reported last week, a deluge of media reports in addition to the past history of terror plots occurring around Christmas suggested that an attempted attack by ISIS on a developed country was imminent.
