David Wilkerson speaks about the perversion in the world and the sinfulness of the church. He points out how the church today is married to the world. People are seeking places where smooth messages are being preached. Christians no longer want to hear about God’s coming wrath and the necessary correction of their lives. This broken and God-fearing man denounces the passivity of God’s people. Christians are blind to the lukewarmness and the sinful mixture that has crept in little by little. He warns how the spirit of blindness is the least recognizable thing.

“You have lost your fight. That’s all the devil wants to do is get the fight out of you and kill it. So you won’t labour in prayer anymore, you won’t weep before God anymore. You can sit and watch television and your family goes to hell. If you are expecting somebody else to win your family or to do this work you are mistaken.”

Through this very deep, challenging and anointed message, God calls believers to a baptism of anguish and to fervently pray for the recovery of a nation.

Lock Up for Life the Psychos Who Live-Streamed a Kidnap Torture

Paul Joseph Watson provides a superb recitation of the attendant facts in this horrid case. According to CNN panelist Symone Sanders, the vicious attack on a mentally disabled man in Chicago during which his attackers yelled “fuck Donald Trump” and “fuck white people,” can be blamed on one man — Donald Trump.

Four people are now in custody after a shocking video emerged of an 18-year-old man being tied up, tortured, cut, beaten and forced to drink toilet water while his assailants screamed racial slurs and live streamed the entire thing on Facebook. The victim was held by his kidnappers for 24-48 hours before being released, at which point he was spotted by police stumbling around in a Chicago suburb and immediately taken to hospital.

According to CNN contributor Symone Sanders, the main culprit behind the attacks is Donald Trump.

“I just want to remind folks that we cannot sit here and ignore that, at least for the last year, on very public display, the worst parts of America have been brought from the fringe into the mainstream,” Sanders told CNN’s Don Lemon. “So, that affects people on both sides.”

“We’ve talked about white nationalists and white supremacists and the KKK, but there also, when this inflammatory rhetoric is out there, when someone is repeatedly telling you that your community is the worst of the worst, it brings out the worst of the worst in people,” she added.

When Lemon said that the attackers probably “never watch the news,” Sanders responded, “Ya’ll have to give young people more credit than that [sic] is,” she said. “Everybody knows who Donald Trump is.” Sanders also asserted that the attack wasn’t a hate crime, commenting, “Was this for hate for Donald Trump, because of the things he said? Or, was this for pure hate of white people, because that matters.” “That is not a hate crime,” she added . “Hate crimes are because of a person’s racial ethnicity, their religion, their gender, a disability, it isn’t your political leanings, because someone doesn’t like you’re political leanings and they do something bad to you, that is not a hate crime.”

Meanwhile, Chicago police have refused to label the incident a hate crime, with Chicago Police Department Commander Kevin Duffin telling reporters, “Kids make stupid decisions — I shouldn’t call them kids, they’re legally adults. But they’re young adults and they make stupid decisions.”

Applicable law states, “A person commits hate crime when, by reason of the actual or perceived race, color, creed, religion, ancestry, gender, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, or national origin of another individual or group of individuals, regardless of the existence of any other motivating factor or factors, he commits assault, battery, aggravated assault.”

Given that the attackers yelled “fuck white people” and forced the man to say “I love black people” during the vicious assault, the incident is clearly a hate crime. If the victim’s mental disability was also a motivating factor, then that makes it a hate crime on at least two counts.

Facebook’s War on Freedom of Speech

• Facebook is now removing speech that presumably almost everybody might decide is racist — along with speech that only someone at Facebook decides is “racist.”

• The sinister reality of a society in which the expression of majority opinion is being turned into a crime has already been seen across Europe. Just last week came reports of Dutch citizens being visited by the police and warned about posting anti-mass-immigration sentiments on social media.

• In lieu of violence, speech is one of the best ways for people to vent their feelings and frustrations. Remove the right to speak about your frustrations and only violence is left.

• The lid is being put on the pressure cooker at precisely the moment that the heat is being turned up. A true “initiative for civil courage” would explain to both Merkel and Zuckerberg that their policy can have only one possible result.

It was only a few weeks ago that Facebook was forced to back down when caught permitting anti-Israel postings, but censoring equivalent anti-Palestinian postings.

Now one of the most sinister stories of the past year was hardly even reported. In September, German Chancellor Angela Merkel met Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook at a UN development summit in New York. As they sat down, Chancellor Merkel’s microphone, still on, recorded Merkel asking Zuckerberg what could be done to stop anti-immigration postings being written on Facebook. She asked if it was something he was working on, and he assured her it was.

At the time, perhaps the most revealing aspect of this exchange was that the German Chancellor — at the very moment that her country was going through one of the most significant events in its post-war history — should have been spending any time worrying about how to stop public dislike of her policies being vented on social media. But now it appears that the discussion yielded consequential results.

Last month, Facebook launched what it called an “Initiative for civil courage online,” the aim of which, it claims, is to remove “hate speech” from Facebook — specifically by removing comments that “promote xenophobia.” Facebook is working with a unit of the publisher Bertelsmann, which aims to identify and then erase “racist” posts from the site. The work is intended particularly to focus on Facebook users in Germany. At the launch of the new initiative, Facebook’s chief operating officer, Sheryl Sandberg, explained that, “Hate speech has no place in our society — not even on the internet.” She went to say that, “Facebook is not a place for the dissemination of hate speech or incitement to violence.” Of course, Facebook can do what it likes on its own website. What is troubling is what this organization of effort and muddled thinking reveals about what is going on in Europe.

The mass movement of millions of people — from across Africa, the Middle East and further afield — into Europe has happened in record time and is a huge event in its history. As events in Paris, Cologne and Sweden have shown, it is also by no means a series of events only with positive connotations.

As well as being fearful of the security implications of allowing in millions of people whose identities, beliefs and intentions are unknown and — in such large numbers — unknowable, many Europeans are deeply concerned that this movement heralds an irreversible alteration in the fabric of their society. Many Europeans do not want to become a melting pot for the Middle East and Africa, but want to retain something of their own identities and traditions. Apparently, it is not just a minority who feel concern about this. Poll after poll shows a significant majority of the public in each and every European country opposed to immigration at anything like the current rate.

The sinister thing about what Facebook is doing is that it is now removing speech that presumably almost everybody might consider racist — along with speech that only someone at Facebook decides is “racist.”

And it just so happens to turn out that, lo and behold, this idea of “racist” speech appears to include anything critical of the EU’s current catastrophic immigration policy.

By deciding that “xenophobic” comment in reaction to the crisis is also “racist,” Facebook has made the view of the majority of the European people (who, it must be stressed, are opposed to Chancellor Merkel’s policies) into “racist” views, and so is condemning the majority of Europeans as “racist.” This is a policy that will do its part in pushing Europe into a disastrous future.

Because even if some of the speech Facebook is so scared of is in some way “xenophobic,” there are deep questions as to why such speech should be banned. In lieu of violence, speech is one of the best ways for people to vent their feelings and frustrations. Remove the right to speak about your frustrations, and only violence is left. Weimar Germany — to give just one example — was replete with hate-speech laws intended to limit speech the state did not like. These laws did nothing whatsoever to limit the rise of extremism; it only made martyrs out of those it pursued, and persuaded an even larger number of people that the time for talking was over.

The sinister reality of a society in which the expression of majority opinion is being turned into a crime has already been seen across Europe. Just last week, reports from the Netherlands told of Dutch citizens being visited by the police and warned about posting anti-mass-immigration sentiments on Twitter and other social media.

In this toxic mix, Facebook has now — knowingly or unknowingly — played its part. The lid is being put on the pressure cooker at precisely the moment that the heat is being turned up. A true “initiative for civil courage” would explain to both Merkel and Zuckerberg that their policy can have only one possible result.

Blood, Sweat, and Cheers: Miracles for Marriage

No Gay Marriage Button

Abraham Lincoln once said, “I have been driven to my knees many times by the conviction that I had nowhere else to go. My own wisdom, and that of all about me, seemed insufficient for the day”.

Such was the case when key Christian leaders got together at the beginning of July 2015 and in desperation called for 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting for a ‘Miracle for Marriage’ from 20 July to Sunday 9 August 2015.

The good news is that things happen when people pray!

Below are nine miracles that the Canberra Declaration Team believes came about because of answered prayers. We know that much blood, sweat, and tears were involved in everything surrounding these wonderful outcomes, but as St Augustine said, “Without God, I can’t. Without me, He won’t.” Soli deo Gloria! (To God be the glory!)

[1.0] On Monday 10 August over 3,000 bouquets of flowers landed on the lawns of Parliament House, Canberra, addressed to the Prime Minister, with thousands of Thank You’s. The miracle is that although correct protocols were not met, the message still got through to the PM and parliamentarians.

[2.0] A full page advert ran in The Australian on Monday 10 August which helped to influence a miracle vote in the Coalition Party Room. The miracle is the supply of God’s provision to the wonderful team at the Marriage Forum who sponsored the advert.

[3.0] The decisive and overwhelming majority vote in support of traditional marriage by the Coalition members in the marathon party room meeting. It started at 9AM and finished at 10.30PM (with some lengthy breaks throughout the day). The miracle is the massive margin of 33 votes, with 66 votes cast for retaining marriage as party policy to 33 against.

[4.0] Katy Faust from USA and Millie Fontana from Melbourne, who have both experienced as children the challenges associated with same-sex parenting, shared their personal stories with parliamentarians from 11-13 August. The miracle is the open door invitation by parliamentarians who wanted to hear the truth for themselves about the injustices that the redefinition of marriage inflicts on children. Millie’s story was quoted in the party room.

[5.0] On Wednesday 12 August, Katy Faust appeared on Lateline and her interview became one of the most popular videos in the history of Lateline.

The miracle is the eloquence of Katy Faust and the fact that Tony Jones and that the ABC, unashamed proponents of homosexual marriage, aired the interview.

[6.0] On Thursday 13 August, the Uluru Bark Petition, in support of marriage, was launched at Parliament House, Canberra by over 70 Indigenous elders and leaders, from all over Australia. The miracle is the unity and sacrifice that brought them together at short notice.

[7.0] On Friday 14 August, a tabloid size advert appeared in The Australian (page 4) advertising the full Uluru Bark Petition in both Pitjantjatjara and English to 492,000 influential Australians. The miracle is the supply of finance to create and run the advertisement.

[8.0] On Monday 17 August, ABC Media Watch exposed the incredible bias against supporters of marriage between a man and a woman by the Australian media elite.The miracle is that the truth was told on ABC TV. Thank God for the Marriage Alliance.

[9.0] On Monday 17 August the highly anti-family, pro-homosexual Q & A program, featured not one but two supporters of marriage between a man and a woman. Usually the odds are 5 to 1 against, but in this case the odds were only 4 to 2 against; Tony Jones also being an avid supporter of homosexual marriage. The miracle is that Brendan O’Neill, a Marxist atheist and Katy Faust bravely hit the ball right out of the ball park.

The miracles continued this week with Brendan O’Neill‘s article in The Australian called the ‘Perfectly Normal are branded as Bigots’ and the brilliant article in the Courier Mail by Jane Fynes-Clinton, exposing the intolerance of those who want to redefine marriage.

The team at the Canberra Declaration are in awe of the combined effect of all these separate miracles to create one big ‘Miracle for Marriage’.

God has truly answered our prayers. To Him be all the glory.

FAILED: Groom Kicks Bride In Ribs On Wedding Night After Reception Drinking, Police Use Taser On Angry Newlywed

A groom, 31-year-old David Wachinski, was thrown in jail on his wedding night after he allegedly kicked his new bride in the ribs and punched her in the face. The newlyweds were drinking at the wedding reception before returning to Wachinski’s Pennsylvania home. Upon returning to the home, The new bride, Katie Thompson, says the pair began to argue. During the argument, Thompson says that her new husband hit her in the face and kicked her in the ribs. Wachinski then allegedly threw a male friend, William Thieret, who was trying to break up the fight, into the wall, leaving a hole and dislodging the flat screen television. The friend held down the enraged groom until police could arrive.

The Daily Mail reports that David Wachinski and Katie Thompson were married on Saturday afternoon.

The pair said their vows and proceeded to a wedding reception that included alcohol.

The police report indicates that both the bride and groom consumed alcohol at the reception before retiring to Wachinski’s home.

However, the newlyweds began to argue and, at around 1:00 a.m., police were called to the home about a domestic dispute.

 The blushing bride claims that her new husband punched her in the face and kicked her in the ribs during an argument. A male friend then intervened and thrown against a wall.

The police report indicates that the friend was thrown hard enough against the wall that it left a hole and dislodged a flat screen television set.

The friend was able to hold Wachinski down until police could arrive, but the angry newlywed did not go with police without a fight.
